A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY
MANAGER TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT
FOR AND ON BEHALF OF THE CITY WITH
THE COUNTY JUDGE OF PULASKI COUNTY,
ARKANSAS FOR WIDENING, PAVING AND
IMPROVING 65TH STREET BETWEEN INTER-
STATE 40 AND U.S. HIGHWAY 67-70; AND
FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF
DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. In consideration of the County Judge
of Pulaski County, Arkansas applying for matching Federal
funds on a 50 - 50 basis for the widening, paving and im-
proving of 65th Street between Interstate 40 and U.S. High-
way 67-70 the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed
to commit the City of Little Rock to pay fifty (50) percent
of the cost of said project and cause City funds in said
amount to be pledged at such time as the exact contract
amount for such construction and improvement is known.
SECTION 2. This Resolution shall be in full force
and effect from and after its adoption.
