A RESOLUTION GRANTING THE UNITED STATES OF
AMERICA AN EASEMENT ON CERTAIN REAL PROPERTIES
OWNED BY THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK; AUTHORIZING
THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE AN "OFFER
TO SELL EASEMENT"; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES .
WHEREAS, the Corp of Engineers of the United States
of America has requested and is in need of an easement on and
over certain properties owned by the City of Little Rock in
and near the David D. Terry Lock and Dam number 6 under
construction on the Arkansas River which lands will be subject
to occasional flooding due to the wave action of the pool of the
David D. Terry Lock and Dam number 6; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the City of
Little Rock that such easement be granted to the United States
of America.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF
DIRECTORS FOR THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby
authorized and directed for and in behalf of the City of
Little Rock to execute an 'offer to sell easement" to the
United States of America over certain lands owned by the City
of Little Root which will be subject to occasional wave flooding
as a result of the construction of David D. Terry Lock and Dam
number 6. The "offered to sell easement" describing the lands
subject to said easement in substance and form is as follows :

(3) The Vendor agrees to satisfy of record, at or before conveying said easement and rights,
