A RESOLUTION AWARDING A CONTRACT ON BIDS
FOR CERTAIN EQUIPMENT TO BE USED BY THE
PUBLIC WORKS DIVISION OF COMMUNITY
DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT; AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, invitation to bid was duly advertised and bids
received pursuant thereto according to law for a truck and chassis
and asphalt distributor for use in the ::ublic Works Division of the
Community Development Department; and
WHEREAS, the lowest responsible and responsive bids have
been determined and it is the desire of the Board of Directors to
award a contract for the purchase of said items of equipment to
the lowest responsible and responsive bidder.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. The bids of the respective bidders in the
sums below for the several items of equipment identified are
hereby accepted and purchase contracts awarded as follows:
SUCCESSFUL PURCHASE PRICE INCLUDING
ITEM BIDDER TAX AND FREIGHT
One (1) Truck and Chassis
capable of being equipped International
with one (1) 1500 Gal. Harvester
asphalt distributor Company $5,745.51
One (11 1500 Gal. asphalt Little Rock
distributor to be installed Road and
on the above truck and chassis Machinery Co. $5, 495.00
SECTION 2 . Upon delivery of the foregoing equipment,
complying in all respects with the bid specifications and
bid proposal the City Manager and Director of Finance are hereby
authorized and directed to execute the necessary warrant or
warrants in payment of the purchase prices above.
SECTION 3. This Resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
