A RESOLUTION FIXING A DATE FOR HEARING THE
PETITION OF ARKANSAS WAREHOUSE CORPORATION
TO CLOSE AND VACATE THAT PORTION OF EAST
26TH STREET LYING NORTH OF, AND ADJACENT TO,
LOT 2 , BLOCK 4 , WATKINS ' ADDITION TO THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS .
WHEREAS , a petition having been filed with the
Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock by Arkansas
Warehouse Corporation, praying that that portion of East
26th Street lying North of, and adjacent to , Lot 2 , Block
4 , WATKINS ' ADDITION to the City of Little Rock, Arkansas
(said portion of said street being also described as :
Beginning at the Northeast corner of Lot 2 , Block 4 ,
WATKINS ' ADDITION to the City of Little Rock, Arkansas ;
thence West 285 feet to the Northwest corner of said lot
and the West line of the Northeast Quarter of Section 14 ,
Township 1 North, Range 12 West, Pulaski County, Arkansas ;
thence North 60 feet to the Northwest corner of said NE'k;
thence East 285 feet along the North line of said NE'k;
thence South 60 feet to the Point of Beginning) ; NOW,
THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS :
Section 1. That the 16th day of May
1966 , at 7:30 P.M. , in the Board Chambers , City Hall ,
Little Rock, Arkansas , is the date, time and place fixed
for hearing on the petition.
Section 2. That the City Clerk give notice of
such hearing by publication, once a week for two con-
secutive weeks , in some newspaper published in Pulaski
County and having a general circulation in the City of
Little Rock, stating in said notice the name of the peti-
tioner and a description of the portion of the street to
be closed and vacated and advising all persons that on
the date named above, the Board will hear the petition
and determine whether the aforesaid portion of East 26th
Street shall be closed and vacated.
