A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE BID OF W.H. TUCKER
COMPANY IN THE SUM OF $ 3,630.00 FOR
LABOR IN THE CONSTRUCTION AND POURING OF CON-
CRETE SLABS FOR MULTI-PURPOSE COURTS IN THE CITY
OF LITTLE ROCK; AUTHORIZING A CONTRACT FOR SAID-
WORK; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, invitation to bid was duly advertised and
bids received pursuant thereto according to law for
labor only in the construction and pouring of concrete
slabs for multi-purpose courts within Butler Park and Allsopp
Park in the City of Little Rock, Arkansas; and,
WHEREAS, the lowest responsible and responsive bid
therefor was the bid of H. W. Tucker Company in the sum of
$ 3,630.00 ; and,
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Board of Directors
to accept the bid of H. W. Tucker Company and to authorize
a contract for said work.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF
DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The bid of H. W. Tucker Company, in the
sum of $ 3,630.00 for furnishing labor only in the
construction and pouring of concrete slabs for multi-purpose
courts in Butler and Allsopp Parks in the City of Little
Rock according to the specifications for bidding, is hereby
accepted.
SECTION 2. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby
authorized and directed to execute in behalf of the City of
Little Rock, a contract with the said H. W. Tucker Company
for the performance of the work.
SECTION 3. This Resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
