A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE APPOINTMENT OF LAWSON
L. DELONY AS A MEMBER OF THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
OF THE LITTLE ROCK MUNICIPAL WATER WORKS
WHEREAS, the term of Lawson L. Delony as a member of the
Board of Commissioners of the Little Rock Municipal Water Works
expired on October 31, 1965; and
WHEREAS, H. J. Burford and P. J. Pickens, the remaining
members of the Board of Commissioners, have, by proper resolution,
re-appointed Lawson L. Delony to serve an additional term of
eight years, said term to expire on October 31, 1973, subject to
the approval of two thirds of the duly elected and qualified
members of the Board of Directors ; Now, Therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That the appointment of Lawson L. Delony as a
member of the Board of Commissioners of the Little Rock Municipal
Water Works by the remaining members of said Board on October 29,
1965 , for a term to expire on October 31, 1973, be, and the same
hereby is, approved.
ADOPTED: November 1 , 1965.
