HomeMy WebLinkAbout3435 ti t RESOLUTION NO. 3,435 A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE BID OF ECONOLITE, A DIVISION OF KAR-TROL SIGNAL COMPANY, FOR THE PURCHASE OF TRAFFIC SIGNALS IN THE SUM OF ONE THOUSAND THREE HUNDRED NINETY-SEVEN AND 30/100 DOLLARS ($1, 397.30) ; AUTHORIZING PAYMENT FUR SAID EQUIPMENT; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. WHEREAS, invitation to bid was duly advertised and bids received pursuant thereto according to law for the purchase of fourteen (14) Walk - Don't Walk Signals for use in the City of Little Rock, as specified in the in- vitation to bid and bidding instruments; and, WHEREAS, the lowest responsible and responsive bid was the bid of Econolite, a Division of Kar-Trol Signal Company, in the sum of One Thousand Three Hundred Ninety- Seven and 30/100 Dollars ($1,397.30) ; and, WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock to accept said bid and autho- rize the purchase of said equipment. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS: SECTION 1. The bid of Econolite, a Division of Kar- Trol Signal Company, in the sum of One Thousand Three Hun- dred Ninety-Seven and 30/100 Dollars ($1,397.30), for pur- chase of fourteen (14) Walk - Don't Walk Signals for use in the City of Little Rock, in accordance with the bidding instruments and specifications, is hereby accepted. SECTION 2. Upon receipt of the equipment, in full compliance with the specifications, the City Manager and - 2 - Director of Finance are hereby authorized and directed to issue the necessary warrant or warrants in payment of the purchase price.
