RESOLUTION NO. 3,382
A RESOLUTION GRANTING LONNIE HENTHORNE
DISABILITY RETIREMENT BENEFITS UNDER
SECTION 2-24 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK; AND FOR
OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, Lonnie Henthorne was employed by the City
of Little Rock in August, 1942 and retired from the employe
of the City of Little Rock due to physical disability on
August 6, 1965, having worked for the City of Little Rock
for a period of twenty-one years (21 years) , eight months
(8 months) , and five days (5 days) in and for the Parks
and Recreation Department, upon the date of his retire-
ment; and,
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Board of Directors
to follow the procedures established and recognized in
Section 2-24 of the Code of Ordinances by retaining Lonnie
Henthorne on the City of Little Rock payroll in his pay
grade at date of retirement until March 4, 1966, on which
date Lonnie Henthorne may be eligible for retirement bene-
fits under the non-uniformed employees' retirement plan
now in effect within the City of Little Rock.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF
DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager and Director of Finance
are hereby authorized and directed to continue the salary
established for Lonnie Henthorne as of August 6, 1965, pay-
able in the nature of disability retirement benefits through
and including March 4, 1966, but not thereafter unless so
authorized by further resolution of this Board of Directors.

SECTION? 2. This Resolution shall be in full force
and effect from and after its adoption.
