A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE LOW BID OF PULASKI
CONSTRUCTION COMPANY FOR CERTAIN BITUMINOUS
AND ASPHAILT MATERIALS FOR PURPOSES OF STREET
RESURFACING IN THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK;
AUTHORIZING PAYMENT THE&EFOR;AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, invitation for bids was duly advertised and
bids received pursuant thereto in accordance with the law
for the furnishing and application of estimated quantities
of bituminous and asphalt materials in connection with the
street resurfacing in the City of Little Rock, Arkansas; and
WHEREAS, the overall lowest responsible and responsive
bid was the bid of Pulaski Construction Company; and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Board of Directors of
the City of Little Rock to accept the bid of Pulaski Counstruc-
tion Company and to authorize payment for the materials when
properly installed and applied;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The bid of Pulaski Construction Company is
hereby accepted for the items and at the unit prices hereinafter
designated, as follows:

23,216 gallons Bituminous Tack Coat $ .17/gallon
17,424 tons Asphaltic Hot-Mix, Type 3 7.60/ton
4,240 tons Asphaltic Con Hot-Mix -
AHD 2 9.60/ton
SECTION 2. The foregoing section reflects the estimated
quantities necessary to complete certain street resurfacing in
the City of Little Rock, and the said bid is hereby accepted to
the extent and under the condition that the unit prices when
multiplied by the quantities of said materials used shall not
exceed the sum of One Hundred Seventy-Six Thousand Six Hundred
Eight and 60/100 Dollars ($176,606.60) .

SECTION 3. The City Manager and Director of Finance
are hereby authorized and directed to issue the necessary
warrant or warrants of the City of Little Rock in payment of
the purchase price of the materials installed in compliance
with the bidding specifications, conditions and requirements
and such payment shall be made as set forth and specified in
the said bidding documents.
SECTION 4. This resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
