A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PAYMENT OF DAMAGES
TO MR. RON WILLIAMS ARISING FROM A COLLISION
BETWEEN HIS AUTOMOBILE AND A CITY-OWNED
VEHICLE IN THE SUM OF ONE HUNDRED FIFTY AND
23/100 DOLLARS ($150.23) ; AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, on the first day of February, 1965, an automobile
owned by Mr. Ron Williams collided with a City-owned vehicle at
1400 Cantrell Road in the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, and, as
a result thereof, was damaged in the sum of One Hundred Fifty
and 23/100 Dollars ($150. 23) ; and
WHEREAS it is the desire of the City of Little Rock to
award payment to Mr. Ron Williams for the damages to his automo-
bile upon receipt of releases in favor of the City of Little
Rock, its agents and employees;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS :
SECTION 1. The claim of Mr. Ron Williams in the sum of
One Hundred Fifty and 23/100 Dollars ($150. 23) for damages to
his automobile resulting from a collision between it and a
City-owned vehicle is hereby acknowledged and accepted.
SECTION 2. The City Manager and Director of Finance are
hereby authorized and directed to issue the necessary warrant
or warrants in payment of the claim referred to in Section 1
upon receipt from Ron Williams of a release in form as prepared
by the office of the City Attorney, running in favor of the City
of Little Rock, its agents and employees.
SECTION 3. This resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
