A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING AND AUTHORIZING PAYMENT
OF THE CLAIM OF WANDA FAYE STEWART FOR PROPERTY
DAMAGE ARISING FROM A COLLISION WITH A CITY-
OWNED VEHICLE; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS the City of Little Rock has received a claim from
Wanda Faye Stewart and Phil Stewart, husband and wife, for
damages inflicted upon a 1959 Volkswagon automobile owned by
them on November 30, 1964; and
WHEREAS said damages were occasioned by a collision between
the said 1959 Volkswagon automobile and a City-owned vehicle ; and
WHEREAS, under existing procedures, it is the desire of the
City of Little Rock to honor and pay the said claim in the sum of
Three Hundred Nine and 69/100 Dollars ($309. 69) upon a Release
being executed by the claimants in such form as may be prepared
by the office of the City Attorney;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS :
SECTION 1. The claim for damages from Wanda Faye Stewart
and Phil Stewart, arising from damage to their 1959 Volkswagon
automobile as the result of a collision with a City-owned vehicle
at the intersection of Cedar and Kavanaugh Streets in the City of
Little Rock on November 30, 1964, is hereby accepted and approved
for payment, in the sum of Three Hundred Nine and 69/100 Dollars.
SECTION 2. The payment authorized and directed in Section 1
hereof shall be made by the City Manager and Director of Finance
upon receipt from the claimants of a Release in form and substance
as shall have been prepared for that purpose by the office of the
City Attorney, releasing the City of Little Rock, its agents and
employees and others from any and all further liability to the
claimants.

SECTION 3 . This resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
