A RESOLUTION FIXING THE DATE FOR A HEARING ON THE
PETITION TO VACATE, ABANDON AND CLOSE EAST 12TH
STREET BETWEEN ROCK STREET AND COMMERCE STREET,
THE NORTH-SOUTH ALLEY LOCATED BETWEEN EAST 11TH
STREET AND EAST 12TH STREET IN BLOCK 57 , ORIGINAL
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, AND THE NORTH-SOUTH ALLEY LOCATED
BETWEEN EAST 12TH STREET AND EAST 13TH STREET IN BLOCK
56 , ORIGINAL CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ALL IN THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS .
WHEREAS, Housing Authority of the City of Little Rock,
Arkansas , has filed with the Little Rock City Board of Directors
its Petition praying that East 12th Street between Rock Street
and Commerce Street, the North-South alley hated between East
11th Street and East 12th Street in Block 57 , Original City of
Little Rock, and the North-South alley located between East
12th Street and East 13th Street in Block 56, Original City of
Little Rock, Arkansas , as more particularly described in said
Petition, and the Plat attached hereto, be vacated, abandoned and
closed, and has alleged that it is the sole owner of the lands
abutting upon same;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Board of Directors
of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas :
Section 1. That the 18th day of January , 196 5 ,
at 7 :30 o 'clock p.m. , in the Chambers of the Board of Directors
is the date and time fixed for hearing on this Petition.
Section 2 . That the City Clerk of Little Rock, kkansas , give
notice of such hearing by publication once a week for two (2) con-
secutive weeks , in some newspaper published in the County and having
a general circulation in the City, stating in said Notice the
name of Petitioner, a description of the street and alleys to be
vacated , and advising all persons that on the date named above ,

the Board of Directors will hear the Petition and determine whether
said street and alleys should be vacated.
