A RESOLUTION HONORING THE SERVICE TO THIS
CITY OF JOE W. BROWN FOR HIS CONTRIBUTION
AS A MEMBER OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK.
WHEREAS, Joe W. Brown has completed a full term on the
Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock; and
WHEREAS , during his term of office, he has displayed all
of the attributes of a man dedicated to public service; and
WHEREAS, his capable understanding of each and every
facet of the problems of the City of Little Rock has aided
this Board of Directors in understanding and acting upon the
many serious matters brought before this Board; and
WHEREAS, his outstanding contribution to this City has
generated the highest respect of those who have worked with
him for his many personal qualities and for his ability,
integrity and sound judgment in the discharge of his duties
as a member of this Board of Directors ;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS :
SECTION 1. That Joe W. Brown, having served the citizens
of this community as a member of the Board of Directors of the
City of Little Rock and having discharged the trust and obli-
gation of his office with highest integrity, excellent judg-
ment and the unselfish giving of his valuable time from both
home and business, is hereby extended the deep and warm appre-
ciation befitting and due him in behalf of all of the citizens
of this City. It is the hope of this Board of Directors and
each member individually that Joe W. Brown will recall his
experiences and service on this Board with fond recollection,
and assurance is hereby given that the unqualified appreciation

of all who have ioined him in service to this City will al-
ways remain as here and now expressed.
SECTION 2. This resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
