A RESOLUTION HONORING THE SERVICE TO THIS
CITY OF BYRON R. MORSE FOR HIS CONTRIBUTION
AS A MEMBER OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK.
WHEREAS , Byron R. Morse has completed a full term on the
Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock, during part of
which time he capably served as Mayor; and
WHEREAS , his acute awareness of every aspect of municipal
involvement permitted him to contribute greatly to the sound
solution of the many problems confronting this City during his
tenure; and
WHEREAS , his record of fair and impartial decisions in the
many matters coming before this Board have engendered the highest
confidence and faith in his dedication as a public servant; and
WHEREAS, during his term of office, this Board drew
heavily upon his knowledge, imagination and foresight in fixing
policy and establishing projects which have benefited and will
continue to benefit this City;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS :
SECTION 1. That Byron R. Morse, having served the citizens
of this community as a member of the Board of Directors of the
City of Little Rock and having discharged the trust and obli-
gation of his office with highest integrity, excellent judg-
ment and the unselfish giving of his valuable time from both
home and business, is hereby extended the deep and warm appre-
ciation befitting and due him in behalf of all of the citizens
of this City. It is the hope of this Board of Directors and
each member individually that Byron R. Morse will recall his
experiences and service on this Board with fond recollection,
and assurance is hereby given that the unqualified appreciation

of all who have joined him in service to this City will
always remain as here and now expressed.
SECTION 2. This resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
