A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE PLANS FOR RELO-
CATION OF FACILITIES AT THE LITTLE ROCK ZOO
IN FAIR PARK, AS ON FILE WITH THE CITY CLERK;
AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, improvements related to the East-West Expressway
in the City of Little Rock will necessitate the taking of
certain lands for right-of-way purposes, which have heretofore
been used as a part of the zoo of the City of Little Rock; and
WHEREAS, it will be necessary to relocate certain facili-
ties at the said zoo; and,
WHEREAS, the Director of Parks and Recreation has caused
to be prepared plans for the said relocation of facilities,
which are on file with the City Clerk;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS :
SECTION 1. The plans for relocation of certain facilities
within the Little Rock Zoo, as prepared by the Director of the
Department of Parks and Recreation, and which are on file with
the City Clerk, are hereby accepted as the basis for improve-
ment and relocation within the said zoo.
SECTION 2. This resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
