A RESOLUTION COMMITTING THE BEQUEST OF
BISCOE HINDMAN IN THE AMOUNT OF FIFTY
THOUSAND AND NO/100 DOLLARS ($50,000.00)
TO IMPROVEMENT OF ONE HUNDRED TWENTY-FIVE
(125) ACRE PARK SITE OWNED BY THE CITY IN
THE SOUTHWEST AREA OF THE CITY; NAMING
THE PARK AS A MEMORIAL TO THE LATE THOMAS
C. HINDMAN; AND FOR OTHER PU POSES.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS :
SECTION 1. The bequest of the late Biscoe Hindman to the
City of Little Rocl in the amount of Pifty Thousand and No/100
Dollars ($50,000.00) , to be used as an appropriate memorial to
the late Thomas Hindman, is hereby designated to be utilized
for the purpose of improving one hundred twenty-five (125) acre
tract of land in the Southwest area of the City of Little Rock
as a park in memory of the late Thomas C. Hindman.
SECTION 2. This Resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
