A RESOLUTION GRANTING A FRANCHISE TO MRS. MARY J.
MADIGAN FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF A RETAINING WALL
ABUTTING UPON PUBLIC RIGHT-OF-WAY ON PULASKI STREET
BETWEEN THIRD AND FOU 'H STREETS; AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. A right, privilege and franchise is hereby
granted to Mrs. Mary J. Madigan for the construction of two (2)
retaining walls within public right-of-way and within the right-
of-way abutting upon Lots 5 and 6, Block 302, original City of
Little Rock, more specifically described as follows:
"Commencing at the Northwest corner of Lot 5, Block 302,
original City of Little Rock; thence South 11 feet 8
inches to the point of beginning; thence West 22 inches ;
thence South 16 feet ; thence East 22 inches ; thence North
16 feet to the point of beginning; and, "
and "commencing at the Northwest corner of Lot 6, Block 302,
original City of Little Rock; thence South 2 feet 4 inches
to the point of beginning; thence West 22 inches ; thence
South 12 feet ; thence East 22 inches ; thence North 12 feet
to the point of beginning. "
SECTION 2. The right, privilege and franchise granted here-
in extends to the Grantee and to her heirs and assigns for such
period of time only as the aforedescribed portions of public
right-of-way are not needed for public purposes; and it is a con-
dition upon this grant that the Grantee hereof, her heirs and
assigns, upon written notice from the City of Little lock, remove
any and all improvements constructed within the aforesaid right-
of-way at their sole expense, and to restore the said right-of-
way to its condition prior to the grant of this franchise.
SECTION 3. This Resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
