A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE TAKING OF ALL STEPS
NECESSARY OR DESIRABLE IN CONNECTION WITH THE AWARD-
ING OF A CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT FOR THE STRICKLAND
TRANSPORTATION COMPANY, INC. , INDUSTRIAL PROJECT;
AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager and other officials of the City
of Little Rock are hereby authorized and directed to take, or
cause to be taken, all steps necessary or desirable in connection
with awarding a construction contract for the Strickland Trans-
portation Company, Inc. , Industrial Project, including, without
limitation, fixing a date for the receipt of construction bids;
advertising for bids as required by law; distributing appropriate
instructions, plans, specifications, drawings and bid forms to
contractors; receiving the bids on the date specified; and re-
porting to this Board on the bids received for appropriate
action.
SECTION 2. This Resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
