A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING A PERPETUAL PARKING EASEMENT IN
CERTAIN LANDS NOW OR HEREAFTER OWNED BY THE LITTLE ROCK
SCHOOL DISTRICT; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the Little Rock School District is about to receive
title to certain properties in proximity of Markham and State
Street; and,
WHEREAS, said property has heretofore been owned by the
City of Little Rock and has been used for parking of City vehicles;
and,
WHEREAS, the Little Rock School District has executed a per-
petual parking easement, running in favor of City of Little Rock,
allowing the use of said lands for purposes of parking City
vehicles during non-business hours thereon.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City of Little Rock does hereby accept a
perpetual parking easement in and to certain lands described in
Section 2 hereof and agrees to abide by the terms of said ease-
ment in perpetuity.
SECTION 2. The perpetual parking easement referred to in
Section 1 hereof shall be in form and substance as follows:

KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS:
That the Little Rock School District of Pulaski County,
Arkansas , GRANTOR, for and in consideration of the sum of Ten
and No/100 Dollars ($10 .00) and other good and valuable con-
sideration , does hereby grant unto the City of Little Rock,
Arkansas, GRANTEE, a perpetual easement upon and across the fol-
lowing described lands , owned by GRANTOR, in Pulaski County,
Arkansas :
The West 6.5 feet of Lot 1, and ALL of Lots 2 , 3 and 4,
Block 139 , in the Original City of Little Rock, Arkansas ,
EXCEPT that portion within the Right of Way of LaHarpe
Boulevard.
The purpose of the Perpetual Parking Easement granted hereby
is for use by Grantee for the parking of its motor vehicles each
day after business hours -- that is , during hours which are not
the ordinary and customary hours for transacting daily, routine
business .
To Have and To Hold the same unto Grantee for the purposes
set forth herein .
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the name of GRANTEE is hereunto affixed
by its duly authorized officers this day of June, 1964 .

SECTION 3. This Resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
