A RESOLUTION AWARDING A CONTRACT ON BIDS FOR THE PURCHASE
OF CERTAIN MATERIALS FOR USE BY THE STREET DEPARTMENT OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES .
WHEREAS, invitation for bids for the equipment identified by
this Resolution have been legally published; and
WHEREAS , bids have been received and opened pursuant to said
invitation; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors desires to award a contract on
said bids to the lowest responsible and responsive bidder therefor;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS :
SECTION 1. Contracts for the purchase of the following materials
for use by the Street Department of the City of Little Rock are hereby
awarded to the persons , firms or corporations in the amounts shown be-

The City Manager and Director of Finance are hereby authorized
to issue warrants from time to time for such quantities of the foregoing
items as may be needed by the City of Little Rock and requisitioned
through proper procedures.
SECTION 2. All expenditures covering the above items will be
made from the operating budget of the City of Little Rock for the year
1964 as approved by Ordinance No . 11,442.
SECTION 3 . This resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
