A RESOLUTION APPROVING AND ADOPTING THE COMMUNITY
FACILITIES PLAN FOR THE LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS PLAN-
NING AREA; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES .
WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Area Planning Commission of Pulaski
County has conducted comprehensive surveys and studies of major com-
munity facilities in the Pulaski County Metropolitan Area including
the City of Little Rock (included in the report as Planning Analysis
Areas "A", "BU , "Cfi , "Do , "E" , s.F" , "G" , AND ``P") and has projected
the plan for such facilities over the next twenty (20) years; and
WHEREAS, the analysis, findings and recommendations of the said
surveys have been incorporated into a report entitled ''Community
Facilities Plan` , said report having been submitted to the Little
Rock Planning Commission and now on file with the City Clerk of the
City of Little Rock, Arkansas; and
WHEREAS, the Little Rock Planning Commission has duly adopted
a Resolution approving and adopting the said plan; and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Board of Directors of the City
of Little Rock to make the said Community Facilities Plan a part of
the plan of development for the City of Little Rock, Arkansas;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That the Couuuunity Facilities Plan as adopted and
recommended by the Metropolitan Area Planning Coauission and by the
Little Rock Planning Commission is hereby approved and adopted by
1 the Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock and the said Board
of Directors hereby recognizes said Plan as a general guide for re-
ference and use in its consideration of local planning proposals and
projects relating to or affecting the future orderly growth and de-
velopment of schools, parks and other major facilities within the
jurisdiction of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas .

SECTION 2. This resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
