A RESOLUTION AWARDING A CONTRACT ON BIDS FOR THE PURCHASE
OF CERTAIN EQUIPMENT FOR USE BY THE SANITATION DEPARTMENT
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES .
WHEREAS, invitation for bids for the equipment identified by
this Resolution have been legally published; and
WHEREAS, bids have been received and opened pursuant to said
invitation; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors desires to award a contract
on said bids to the lowest responsible and responsive bidder therefor;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. A contract for the purchase of the following equip-
ment for use by the Sanitation Department of the City of Little Rock
is hereby awarded to the person, firm or corporation in the amount shown
below:
TOTAL NET PRICE
QUANTITY ITEM SELLER INC. TAX & TRADE-IN
One (1)--1/2 Ton Pickup Truck---International Harvester
Co . $1,356.76
SECTION 2. The City Manager and Director of Finance are hereby
authorized and directed to execute the necessary warrant in payment of
the purchase price hereinabove identified.
SECTION.3 . This resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
