A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AND APPROVING THE EXPENDITURE OF SEVEN
HUNDRED TWENTY NINE AND 33/100 DOLLARS ($729 .33) TO ROBERT C.
YANCEY AS FULL COMPROMISE AND SETTLEMENT FOR DAMAGES TO HIS
AUTOMOBILE ARISING OUT OF A COLLISION WITH A VEHICLE OWNED BY
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES .
WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock by Ordinance No . 10,949 , established
certain standards and procedures for the processing of personal property
damage claims against the City of Little Rock, which ordinance, among
other things, provided that the City Manager would have authority to
settle and pay claims not exceeding the sum of One Hundred Dollars
($100.00) ; and
WHEREAS, the claim of Robert C. Yancey exceeds the One Hundred Dollar
($100.00) limitation; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager and City Attorney recommend that said
claim be settled for Seven Hundred Twenty Nine and 33/100 Dollars
($729 .33) ; and
WHEREAS , the Board of Directors desires to authorize payment to
Robert C. Yancey of the said sum as full compromise and settlement
of his claim against the City for damages to his vehicle;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS :
SECTION 1. There is hereby approved the expenditure of Seven Hun-
dred Twenty Nine and 33/100 Dollars ($729 .33) to Robert C. Yancey as
full compromise and settlement of his claim for damages to his vehicle
arising out of a collision with a vehicle owned by the City of Little
Rock which occurred on the 24th day of August, 1963 , at 21st & Battery
Streets in the City of Little Rock, Arkansas .
SECTION 2. The money paid pursuant to Section 1 of this Resolution
shall be charged to Account No . 5 .1 in accordance with Section 6 of
Ordinance No . 10,949 .
SECTION 3 . The City Manager and Director of Finance are hereby
authorized and directed to execute the necessary warrant in payment

of the money approved in Section 1 hereinabove.
SECTION 4. This resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
