HomeMy WebLinkAbout3068 RESOLUTION NO. 3,068 A RESOLUTION IN MEMORIAL OF CARLOS HAROLD GRAHAM. WHEREAS, on September 23, 1963, Carlos Harold Graham was tragically and fatally injured during the suppression of a fire in downtown Little Rock; and WHEREAS, Carlos Harold Graham was, during his seven (7) years as a firefighter in the Little Rock Fire Department, highly respected, well liked and exceptionally competent in his chosen work; and WHEREAS, Carlos Harold Graham left behind him his wife and two daughters and many close friends and associates who are grieved at his passing; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS: SECTION 1. The Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, hereby expresses to the widow and children of Carlos Harold Graham its deepest and most sincere sympathy and regret in their loss and mourns the loss to this City of one of its capable and dedicated employees . This Board of Directors further declares that the courage and dedication to purpose displayed by Carlos Harold Graham, though overshadowed by the unfortunate fact of his untimely death, should be a true source of pride to his family and loved ones and an inspiration to his many close friends and associates .
