RESOLUTION NO. 2,899
RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, SETTING THE DATE OF HEARING
ON THE PETITION TO VACATE A PORTION OF AMHERST DRIVE,
A STREET, SAID PORTION LYING BETWEEN LOTS 48 AND 59,
IN SHANNON HILLS EAST ADDITION TO THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS.
WHEREAS, a petition was duly filed with the Board of
Directors of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, on the 22nd
day of October, 1962, asking the Board of Directors to vacate
and abandon all of that portion of Amherst Drive, a street,
lying between Lots 48 and 59 of Shannon Hills East Addition
to the City of Little Rock, as designated on the plat of said
Addition now appearing of record in Plat Book 10 at page 4, in
the office of the Recorder of Pulaski County, Arkansas, which
portion is described with particularity in said petition.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section 1 . The hearing on said petition shall be held
at the meeting of the Board of Directors in the City Hall at
7:30 o'clock p.m. , on the 19th day of November , 1962.
Section 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to give
notice of such hearing in the manner prescribed by law by publi-
cation once a week for two consecutive weeks in a newspaper
published in Pulaski County, Arkansas, and having general
circulation in the City of Little Rock.
