A RESOLUTION COMMENDING MEMBERS OF THE LITTLE ROCK POLICE
DEPARTMENT FOR THE DONATION OF TIME AND EFFORT IN THE INTERESTS
OF CHARITY.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK:
That the members of the Little Rock Police Department are
hereby justly commended for the giving of their time, efforts
and talents as displayed in the organization of and participation
in a football game at this Christmas season of the year, the
proceeds from which will be used exclusively for the purpose of
providing gifts of food and toys for needy families and children
in the City of Little Rock, with no gain for themselves or their
families save the spirit of giving and the satisfaction of having
gone out of their respective ways to aid and assist others.
For this act of charity, the Board of Directors of the City
of Little Rock commend the entire Police Department and each
member thereof. Also, the fact that the Little Rock Police
Department won the game is something in which we can all take
great pride.
This resolution shall be in full force and effect from and
after its adoption.
