A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING CITY ATTORNEY
TO PROSECUTE ACTIONS DESIGNED TO ENFORCE SUBDIVISION
RULES AND REGULATIONS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK;
AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, it is found by the Board of Directors of the City
of Little Rock that many violations of the Subdivision Rules
and Regulations are taking place from time to time; and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City of Little Rock to
enforce to the greatest extent possible its Subdivision Rules
and Regulations; and
WHEREAS, it is felt that the Office of the City Attorney,
in coordination with the other Departments of the City, is
most suitably equipped to take immediate action against violators
of the Subdivision Rules and Regulations;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS :
SECTION 1. That the City Attorney of the City of Little
Rock be and is hereby directed to take such action as in his
discretion is feasible and proper to enforce the Subdivision
Rules and Regulations of the City of Little Rock and to take
action against any person, firm, partnership, corporation or
entity violating the Subdivision Rules and Regulations, and
in particular, violating same by the sale of property by metes
and bounds description in an attempt to improperly subdivide
lands within the jurisdiction of the City Planning Commission.
SECTION 2. This resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
