A RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 2551 INCLUDING EMPLOYEES
OF THE LITTLE ROCK PUBLIC LIBRARY WITHIN THE DEFINITION OF
ELIGIBLE EMPLOYEES OF THE RETIREMENT AND PENSION PLAN OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS , the City of Little Rock adopted Resolution No. 2551
providing for a Group Retirement and Pension Plan for non-uniform
employees of the City of Little Rock and made provisions for the
addition of certain employees of specific Boards, Commissions and
Authorities; and
WHEREAS , Seventy-Five Per Cent (750) or more of the eligible
employees of the Library Board of Trustees have duly petitioned the
Board of Directors to participate as eligible employees in the Group
Retirement and Pension Plan; and
WHEREAS , it is the desire of the Board of Directors to permit
said employees of the Library Board of Trustees to so participate,
provided that the cost of participation by the said employees of
the Library Board of Trustees is borne solely by the said Board and
its employees;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The term Eligible Class of Employees is hereby ex-
panded to include eligible employees of the Library Board of Trustees
and Section 3.1 of the Group Retirement and Pension Plan as adopted
in Resolution No. 2551 is hereby amended to include the eligible em-
ployees of the Library Board of Trustees.
SECTION 2. The City of Little Rock shall in no manner assume
any liability or make any payments for the benefit of the eligible
employees of the Library Board of Trustees and the cost of the partici-
pation under this Plan by the employees of the Library Board of Trustees
shall be solely borne by the said employees and the Library Board of

SECTION 3. This resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
