A RESOLUTION AMENDING PARAGRAPH (b) OF SECTION 3 .2 OF THE
GROUP RETIREMENT PLAN OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK AS SET
FORTH IN SECTION 1 OF RESOLUTION NO. 2551, SAME BEING:
"A RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR AND CREATING A GROUP RETIRE-
MENT AND PENSION PLAN FOR THE NON-UNIFORM EMPLOYEES OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES." ;
AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS , in order to clarify the Group Retirement Plan of the
City of Little Rock, Arkansas, as to the status of the employees
with less than two (2) years of service as of May 1, 1960, the
Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, desires
to amend Paragraph (b) of Section 3 .2 of the Group Retirement
Plan of the City of Little Rock as set forth in Section 1 of
Resolution No. 2551;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. Paragraph (b) of Section 3 .2 of the Group Retire-
ment Plan of the City of Little Rock as set forth in Section 1
of Resolution No. 2551 is hereby amended to read as follows:
"(b) For those in the employ of the City on May 1, 1960,
who on that date had not attained two years of Con-
tinuous Service, and for those commencing employment
subsequent to May 1, 1960; on the Anniversary of the
Eligibility Date coincident with or next following
his completion of two years of Continuous Service, if
his Continuous Service began not later than his 50th
Birthday."
SECTION 2. This resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
