A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO NEGOTIATE FOR
THE SALE OF THE INTEREST OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK TO
CERTAIN PROPERTIES; AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK
TO EXECUTE A DEED THERETO IN FAVOR OF PURCHASER; AND FOR
OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to negotiate
for the sale of such interest as may be owned by the City of Little
Rock in and to the following described property, to-wit:
A portion of the west 75 ' of the south 2 of Block 357, Ori-
ginal City of Little Rock, described as follows :
Beginning at the southwest corner of Block 357, Original
City of Little Rock, thence east along the south line of
Block 357 a distance of 75 ' to the east line of the west
75 ' of Block 357 , thence north along the east line of the
West 75 ' of Block 357 a distance of 32.7 ' for a point of
beginning, thence continue north along the east line of
the west 75 ' of the South 2 of Block 357 a distance of
117 .3 ' to the north line of the west 75 ' of the south 2
of Block 357 , thence west along the north line of the
south 2 of Block 357 a distance of 105 .0 ' to the center
line of Cross Street, thence south along the center line
of Cross Street to the north right-of-way line of La
Harpe Boulevard, thence southeasterly on a 3°00 ' curve to
the right along the north right-of-way line of La Harpe
Boulevard to the point of beginning, containing 0.147
acres, except a 10 ' x 10 ' square located in the northwest
corner of the west 75 ' of the south 2 of Block 357 , Origi-
nal City of Little Rock.
SECTION 2. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and
directed to execute a Quitclaim Deed conveying such interest as the
City may have in and to the above described property, which Deed
shall be prepared by the City Attorney at the completion of negotia-
tions by the City Manager.
SECTION 3 . The City shall obtain a price of not less than
Four Thousand and No/100 Dollars ($4,000.00 )
for the conveyance of its interest in the property described in Section
1 hereof.
SECTION 4. This resolution shall be in full force and effect
