A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE
A CORRECTION DEED TO RAYMOND A. KARCHER, TRUSTEE; AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES.
WHEREAS , the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, on January 18, 1960,
by Resolution No. 2473 , authorized and directed the Mayor together with
the City Clerk to convey to Raymond A. Karcher, Trustee, certain property
owned by the City of Little Rock, hereinafter described; and
WHEREAS , on January 18, 1960, the said property was conveyed to
Raymond A. Karcher, Trustee, by a Quitclaim Deed wherein the land was
described in such a manner as to convey more land than was intended; and
WHEREAS , it is now desired to correct the said description;
NOW THEREFORE , BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The Mayor and City Clerk of the City of Little Rock
are hereby authorized and directed to execute a Correction Deed in favor
of Raymond A. Karcher, Trustee, which Deed is described in full herein.
SECTION 2. The Deed to be executed by the Mayor and City Clerk,
pursuant to Section 1 hereof, shall be in form and substance as follows:
CORRECTION DEED
WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock, Pulaski County,
Arkansas , on the 18th. day of January, 1960, by Resolution No.
2473, authorized and directed the Mayor, together with the City
Clerk, to convey to Raymond A. Karcher , Trustee , property in the
City of Little Rock hereinafter described ; and on the 18th. day
of January, 1960 , said property hereinafter described was con-
veyed to Raymond A. Karcher , Trustee, by a quitclaim deed, re-
corded in Book 720, Page 47, wherein the land was described in
• a vague and indefinite manner, and it was the intention of the
Grantor and Grantee that the land conveyed thereby should be de-
scribed as hereinafter set out ; and it is now desired to correct
said description; and the City of Little Rock, Pulaski County,
da
Arkansas, on the day of , 1960, by
Resolution No. authorized and directed the Mayor,
together with the City Clerk to correct the description by this
correction deed :
NOW, THEREFORE, I , W. C. Knoop, Mayor, and I, Pauline
G. Beeson, City Clerk of Little Rock, a municipal corporation,
organized, chartered, and existing under authority of the laws
of the State of Arkansas for and in consideration of the sum of
One Dollar ($1.00) cash in hand paid, the receipt of which is
hereby acknowledged, acting for and in behalf of the City of Little
Rock, Arkansas , and for the purpose of correcting said former con-
veyance to conform to the intention and agreement of the Grantor
and Grantee, do hereby convey, alien and quitclaim unto Raymond A.
Karcher, Trustee, his heirs , successors and assigns forever , the
following lands lying in the City of Little Rock, County of Pulaski,
State of Arkansas , to-wit :

That part of Lots 11 through 20, inclusive,
Block 3, National Park Subdivision to the City
of Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas, ly-
ing South of a line beginning at a point on
the center line of what was formerly Geyer
Street 107 feet South and at a right angle to
the center line of East Roosevelt Road ; thence
in an Easterly direction to a point on the
boundary line common to Lots 17 and 18, Block
3 , National Park Subdivision to the City oi
Li '. tle Rock., Ark.:',sas , which point is 15 i'eet.
South of the Nol. of said Lots
11 and 18 and 101 feet South of and at a right
angle to the center line of East Roosevelt Road ;
thence in an Easterly direction to a point on
the boundary line common to Lots 14 and 15,
Block 3, National Park Subdivision to the City
of Little Rock, Arkansas, which point is 18
feet South of the North boundary line of said
Lots 14 and 15 and 107 feet South of and at a
right angle to the center line of East Roosevelt
Road; thence in an Easterly direction along a
line which is 107 feet South of and parallel to
the center line of East Roosevelt Road to a point
where the line intersects the West right-of-way
line of the C.R. I.& P. Railway; and the East 30
feet of what was formerly Geyer Street lying ad-
jacent to the West boundary line of Lot 20 , Block
3, National Park Subdivision to the City of Little
Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas ; and the North 25
feet of what was formerly East Twenty-Eighth Street
lying adjacent to the South boundary line oi said

That part of Lots 2 and 3, Block 4, National Park
Subdivision to the City of Little Rock, Arkansas,
lying South of a line beginning at a point on the
East right-of-way line of the C. R. I.& P. Railway,
which point is 107 feet South of and at a right
angle to the center line of East Roosevelt Road,
thence in an Easterly direction along a line 107
feet from and parallel to the center line of East
Roosevelt Road to a point on the East boundary
line of Lot 2, Block 4, National Park Subdivision.

feet South of the North boundary line of said Lot
2 ; and the North 25 feet of what was formerly East
Twenty-Eighth Street lying adjacent to the South
boundary of the above described lots ; and
Lots 1 , 2, 3 and 4, Block 8, Watkins Addition to
the City of Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas,
and the South 25 feet of what was formerly East
Twenty-Eighth Street , lying adjacent to the North
boundary line of Lots 1 and 2, Block 8, Watkins
Addition to the City of Little Rock, Pulaski County,

Arkansas , and the East 30 feet of what was
formerly Geyer Street, lying adjacent to Lots
2 and 3, Block 8, Watkins Addition to the City
of Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas.
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD, the same unto Raymond A. Karcher,
Trustee, and unto his heirs, successors and assigns forever, to-
gether with all and singular, the tenements, appurtenances and
hereditaments thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining.
The City of Little Rock, Arkansas , hereby warrants its
title against any claims arising from certificates , deeds , in-
struments , or evidences of ownership of any interest in the above
described property whatsoever , which interest arises from for-
feitures of the said property or any part thereof for non-payment

executors , administrators , and
any claims
or losses arising out of forfeitures of the above
property or any portion thereof for taxes accrued during such
time as the property was owned by the City of Little Rock,
Arkansas.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the City of Little Rock, a muni-
cipal corporation, has caused these presents to be signed by its
Mayor , its Clerk and its corporate seal to be herewith affixed,
all in accordance with and pursuant to a resolution of its City
Board of Directors , duly and regularly adopted, a copy of which

therein mentioned and set forth.

SECTION 3. This Resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
