A RESOLUTION FIXING DATE FOR THE HEARING ON A PETITION
TO RELEASE, CLOSE, VACATE AND ABANDON A PORTION OF
COOLIDGE STREET IN THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS;
AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, Success Corporation, by H. F. Buhler, President,
Charles W. Brown, Mrs . Charles W. Brown, his wife, Hoyt E. _Men, Mrs.
Hoyt E. Allen, his wife, Harry E . McDermott, Jr. and Mary Alice McDermott,
his wife , have filed with the Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock,
Arkansas , a petition praying that the following described portion of Coolidge
Street be released, closed, vacated and abandoned:
Commencing at the NW corner of Lot 8, Block 1 , run thence
East a distance of 40 feet to the NE corner of Lot 1 , Block 2;
thence South 226 feet to a point 10' north of the SE corner of
Lot 4, Block 2; thence East a distance of 40 feet to a point 10'
north of the SW corner of Lot 5, Block 1; thence North a dis-
tance of 226 feet to the point of beginning, all in Success
Addition to the City of Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas ,
according to the plat appearing in Plat Book 1 , Page 128.
NOW, THEREFORE , BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, that,
Section 1. The 19th day of September , 1960, at 7:30 P. M. ,
in the Board of Directors' Chamber, City Hall, Little Rock, Arkansas ,
is hereby fixed as the time, date and place for the hearing upon the
petition of Success Corporation, by H. F. Buhler, President, Charles W.
Brown, Mrs . Charles W. Brown, his wife , Hoyt E. Allen, Mrs . Hoyt E.
Allen, his wife , Harry E. McDermott, Jr. and Mary Alice McDermott,
his wife, to release , close vacate and abandon a portion of Coolidge Street
in the City of Little Rock, Arkansas .
Section 2. The City Clerk of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas ,
is hereby directed to give notice of such hearing by publication once a
w eek for two consecutive weeks in some newspaper published in the County
and having general circulation in the City of Little Rock, Arkansas. This
notice shall : (a) state the name of the street and describe the portion
thereof to be vacated; and (b) state the name of the person who signed the
petition; and (c) advise all persons that at the time, place and date set forth
above, the Board of Directors will hear and determine whether said portion
of Coolidge Street shall be vacated.
