HomeMy WebLinkAbout2584 RESOLUTION NO. 2581 A RESOLUTION FIXING DATE FOR THE HEARING ON A PETITION TO RELEASE, CLOSE VACATE AND ABANDON A PORTION OF . WOODLAWN STREET IN THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, .ARKANSAS; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. WHEREAS, Frank R. Buhler and Gladys G. Buhler, his wife, Charles S. Smith and Mary Ella Smith, his wife, have filed with the Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, a petition praying that the following described portion of Woodlawn Street be released, closed, vacated and abandoned: Commencing at a point 51 East of the SW corner of Lot 7, Block 27, run thence South 40 feet to a point 51 East of the NW corner of Lot 12 , Block 30; thence East along the North line of Lot 12 , Block 30, 135 feet to the NE corner of said Lot 12, Block 30; thence North 40 feet to the SE cor- ner of Lot 7, Block 27; thence West along the South line of said Lot 7, Block 27, 135 feet to the point of beginning, all in Success Addition to the City of Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, that: Section 1. The 19th day of September , 1960, at 7 30 in the Board of Directors ' Chamber, City Hall, Little Rock, Arkansas, is hereby fixed as the time, date and place for the hearing upon the petition of Frank R. Buhler and Gladys G. Buhler, his wife , Charles S. Smith and Mary Ella Smith, his wife , to release, close, vacate and abandon a portion of Woodlawn Street in the City of Little Rock, Arkansas. Section 2. The City Clerk of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas , is hereby directed to give notice of such hearing by publi- cation once a week for two consecutive weeks in some newspaper published in the County and having general circulation in the City of Little Rock, Arkansas. This notice shall: (a) state the name of the person who signed the petition; (b) state the name of the street and describe the portion thereof to be vacated; and, (c) advise all persons that at the time, date and place set forth above, the Board of Directors will hear and determine whether said portion of Woodlawn Street shall be vacated.
