A RESOLUTION At`iARDING A CONTRACT ON BIDS FOR THE INSTALLMENT
OF CERTAIN EQUIPMENT FOR USE BY THE CIVIL DEFENSE DEPARTMENT
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, invitation for bids for the equipment identified by this
Resolution have been legally published; and
°HEREAS, bids have been received and opened pursuant to said invi-
tation; and
11TEREAS, the Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock desires
to award a contract on said bids to the lowest responsible bidder therefor;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. Contract for the installing of the following equipment
for use by the Civil Defense Department of the City of Little Rock is
hereby awarded to the person, firm or corporation in the amount shown
below:
ITEM SELLER TOTAL NET PRICE
Installment of Seven (7) Butler Electric $1,649.00
Sirens Company
SECTION 2. The City Manager and Director of Finance are hereby
authorized and directed to execute the necessary warrants in payment of
the installation hereinabove identified.
SECTION 3. This resolution shall be in full force and effect from
and after its adoption.
