RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF 'ME CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, SETTING THE DATE OF HEARING
ON THE PETITION TO VACATE BUCHANAN STREET (SHOWN ON
PLAT AND FORMERLY KNOWN AS KNOX STREET), THAT PORTION
EXTENDING FROM LEE AVENUE TO WOODLAWNN AVENUE AND LYING
BETWEEN BLOCKS 26 and 27 OF LINCOLN PARK ADDITION TO
THE CITY C ' LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
WHEREAS, a petition was duly filed with the Board of Directors
of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, on the 10th day of June , 1960,
asking the Board of Directors to vacate and abandon all of the portion
of Buchanan Street from Lee Avenue to Woodlawn Avenue and lying between
Blocks 26 and 27 of Lincoln Park Addition to the City of Little Rock,
Arkansas, as designated in Plat Book 1, at page 63 of the records of
Pulaski County, Arkansas, and filed for record August 26, 19079 subject
however, to any public utility easements located in said street.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE B(7 RD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The hearing on said petition shall be held at the
meeting of the Board of Directors in the City Hail at 7: 30 o'clock
P.M. on the 1 st day of August , 1960,
SECTION 2, The City Clerk is hereby directed to give notice of
such hearing in the manner prescribed by law by publication once a
week for two (2) consecutive weeks in a newspaper published in
Pulaski County, Arkansas, and having general circulation in the
City of Little Rock.
