A RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACTS ON BIDS FOR THE PURCHASE
OF CERTAIN EQUIPMENT FOR USE BY THE PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES .
WHEREAS, invitation for bids for the equipment identified by
this Resolution have been legally published; and
WHEREAS , bids have been received and opened pursuant to said
invitation; and
WHEREAS , the Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock
desires to award a contract on said bids to the lowest responsible
bidder therefor;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. A contract for the purchase of the following equip-
ment for use by the Public Works Department in and upon the public
streets in the City of Little Rock is hereby awarded to the person,
firm or corporation in the amount shown below:

1 Allis-Chalmers D-14 Tractor
with M.B. two-way sweeper----Moody Equipment &
Supply Company $3 ,727.87
SECTION 2. The City Manager and Director of Finance are hereby
authorized and directed to execute the necessary warrant in payment
of the purchase price hereinabove identified.
SECTION 3. This resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
