A RESOLUTION ADOPTING AND ACCEPTING A MINUTE ORDER OF THE ARK-
ANSAS STATE HIGHWAY COMMISSION FOR THE PAVING AND WIDENING OF
BROADWAY STREET BETWEEN TWENTY-THIRD STREET AND ROOSEVELT ROAD;
AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, on the 4th day of November, 1959 , the Arkansas State
Highway Commission issued a Minute Order, No. 3439 , authorizing the
Director of the State Highway Commission to proceed in the most
feasible and economical manner to eliminate the dangerous and narrow
section of Broadway Street between Twenty-third Street and Roosevelt
Road, conditioned upon the obtaining of right-of-way clear of obstruction
and free of cost to the State and the construction of curbs and gutters
by the City of Little Rock, Arkansas; and
WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock has obtained the necessary right-
of-way for the proposed construction and will install curbs and gutters;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. Minute Order No. 3439 , dated November 4, 1959 , of the
Arkansas State Highway Commission is hereby accepted and adopted by
the City of Little Rock, Arkansas.
SECTION 2. This Resolution shall be in full force and effect from
and after its adoption .
