A RESOLUTION EMPLOYING BRUCE ANDERSON, REGISTERED, LICENSED
ARCHITECT, TO PREPARE PLANS, SPECIFICATIONS AND COST ESTIMATES
FOR THE REMODPILING OF THE ABANDONED FIRE STATION NOW LOCATED
IN MACARTHUR PARK IN THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK; AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City, by Ordinance No. 11,056, dedicated certain property
and improvements to the use of the Parks and Recreation Department, said
property and improvements being no longer needed for fire station purposes;
and
WHEREAS, the Parks and Recreation Department now desires to remodel
the fire station located thereon so that it may be used as an adult
recreation center;
NOW THERE'ORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. Bruce Anderson, registered, licensed architect, is
hereby employed to prepare plans, specifications and cost estimates for
the remodeling of the old fire station located on Lots 5 and 6, Block 154
of the Original City of Little Rock, Arkansas. Said fire station is to
be reconverted into an adult recreation center.
SECTION 2. This resolution shall be in full force and effect from
and after its adoption.
