A RESOLUTION AWARDING A CONMACT ON BIDS FOR TIE PURCHASE
OF CERTAIN SIGNS FOR USE BY THE TRAFFIC DEPARTMENT IN THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, invitation for bids for the equipment and materials
identified by this Resolution has been legally published; and
WHEREAS, bids have been received and opened pursuant to said
invitation; and
i:m} REAS, the Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock
desires to award a contract on said bids to the lowest responsible
bidder therefor;
N0W THER PORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. A contract for the purchase of the following
materials and equipment for use by the City of Little Rock, Arkansas,
is hereby awarded to the person in the amount shown below:
QUANTITY Item SELLER TOTAL NET PRICE
300 Civil Defense signs Lyle Sign Company $1,356.00
and blanks
SECTION 2. The City Manager and Director of Finance are hereby
authorized and directed to execute the necessary warrants in payment
of the purchase price hereinabove identified to be paid from Street
Construction Fund, Project 8.
SECTION 3. This resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
