RESOLUTION NO. 2510
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR AND CITY
CLERK TO EXECUTE A QUITCLAIM DEED IN FAVOR OF THE ARKANSAS
STATE HIGHWAY COMMISSION CONVEYING CERTAIN LANDS TO SAID
COMMISSION FOR USE AS RIGHT OF WAY FOR HIGHWAY PURPOSES ON,
ACROSS OR OVER ALL OR ANY PORTION OF SAID PROPERTY; AND FOR
OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS :
SECTION 1. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and
directed to execute a Quitclaim Deed in favor of the Arkansas State
Highway Couuuission conveying certain lands to said Commission for
use as right of way for Highway purposes on, across or over all or
any portion of said property.
SECTION 2. The property which shall be conveyed by act of the
Mayor and City Clerk of Little Rock, Arkansas, is described as
follows :
Part of the Northwest Quarter of the Southeast Quarter, Section
11, Township 1 North, Range 12 West, Pulaski County, Arkansas,
more particularly described as follows :
Starting at the Southeast Corner of Block 36 of Masonic Addition
to the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, for a point of beginning;
thence South 87° 13' East, 60.0 feet to a point on the Easterly
right of way line of proposed Little Rock Expressway; thence
South 1° 22 ' West, 110.44 feet along said right of way line to
a point; thence South 23° 19 ' East, 47.06 feet along said right
of way line to a point; thence South 50° 18 ' West, 50.0 feet
along said line to a point; thence North 31° 20' West, 90.0
feet along said line to a point; thence North 67° 54' West,
50.0 feet along said line to a point; thence South 22° 06 '
West, 235.0 feet along said right of way line to a point; thence
South 67° 54' East, 15.0 feet along said line to a point; thence
South 22° 06 ' West, 88.37 feet along said line to a point; thence
North 74° 11' East, 66.09 feet along said proposed Easterly right
of way line of the Little Rock Expressway to a point; thence
South 9° 58 ' East, 50.0 feet along said line to a point; thence
South 730 27 ' West, 100.75 feet along said line to a point;
thence South 22° 06 ' West, 21.01 feet to a point on the East
4 line of Block 17 of Bragg's Second Addition to the City of
Little Rock; thence North 1° 11' East, 279.24 feet along said
line to the Southeast Corner of Block "A" of Oak Glen Subdivision;
thence North 10 56 ' East, 192.26 feet along the East line of
said Oak Glen Subdivision; thence North 0° 47 ' West, 15.0 feet
to a point on the South line of Block 36, Masonic Addition to
the City of Little Rock; thence South 87° 13' East, 183.83
feet along said South line to the point of beginning and con-
taining 57, 756.2 square feet or 1.33 acres.
SECTION 3. This Resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
