A RESOLUTION ASSESSING CHARGES AGAINST THE LITTLE ROCK
MUNICIPAL WATER WORKS FOR SERVICES RENDERED AND TO BE
RENDERED BY THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK TO SAID WATER WORKS
DURING THE CALENDAR YEAR 1960; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES .
WHEREAS , the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, has furnished and
will furnish, in the calendar year of 1960 to the Little Rock Municipal
Water Works fire and police protection, administrative services and
various other services ; and
WHEREAS, such services are furnished at a great cost to the
City of Little Rock; and
WHEREAS, the said services are of value to the Little Rock
Municipal Water Works, and if not furnished by the City of Little
Rock, could be obtained by the Little Rock Municipal Water Works
only at great cost; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors has carefully considered the
responsibility of the City to furnish such services, the costs thereof
to the City, and the value thereof to the Little Rock Municipal Water
Works; and
WHEREAS , after such careful consideration, the Board of Dir-
ectors finds that the said costs and services are reasonably of the
value of $250,000.00 for the calendar year of 1960;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That to reimburse the City of Little Rock for its
costs in supplying the said fire and police protection , and the admin-
istrative and other services , and as a charge for the benefits received
from the City of Little Rock on account of said services, the Little
Rock Municipal Water Works is hereby assessed the sum of $250 ,000 .00
for the calendar year of 1960 .
SECTION 2. That charges hereinabove made shall be paid and
credited to the General Fund of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas .

SECTION 3 . This resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption .
