A RESOLUTION FIXING DATE FOR PUBLIC HEARING ON A
PETITION TO VACATE AND ABANDON A PORTION OF "0"
STREET, PROVIDING FOR THE PUBLICATION OF NOTICES
THEREOF AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, a petition was duly filed by Metropolitan Trust Company with the
Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, on the 16th day of March,
1960, asking that the Board of Directors vacate and abandon the portion of "0" Street
described in said petition and hereinafter described;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, that the meeting of said Board of Directors at
7:30 P. M. on Monday, the 4th day of April, 1960, be fixed as the date and time
for the hearing upon said petition to vacate and abandon said portion of "0" Street
described as follows, to-wit:
That portion of "0" Street extending from the East line of
Filmore Street Easterly to the West line of Taylor Street,
lying in the City of Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas;
and the City Clerk is hereby directed to give notice of such meeting by publication
once a week for two consecutive weeks in some newspaper published in Pulaski County,
Arkansas, and having a general circulation in the City of Little Rock, Arkansas. The
notice shall state the name of the person signing said petition, describe the portion of
"0" Street to be vacated and advise all persons that on said date fixed herein, the
Board of Directors will hear and determine whether said portion of "0" Street shall
be vacated.
