A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF LOT 11, BLOCK 4,
PLUNKETTS ADDITION TO THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS,
FROM C . W. CRAIG AND ADDIS M. CRAIG, FOR A TOTAL CONSIDERATION
OF ONE THOUSAND THREE HUNDRED AND NO/100 DOLLARS ($1,300.00) ;
AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, it is found to be essential to the City of Little Rock
that certain lands be purchased and acquired for the construction
of the Eighth Street Expressway in the said City; and
WHEREAS, it is found to be essential that Lot 11, Block 4,
PLUNKETTS ADDITION to the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, be purchased
and acquired by the City of Little Rock in order to construct said
Expres sway;
NOW THERRPORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
CITY OF LITTLF ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed
to purchase Lot 11, Block 4, PLUNKETTS ADDITION to the City of Little
Rock, Arkansas, from C . W. Craig and Addie M. Craig, upon the approval
of title by the City Attorney, for a consideration of One Thousand
Three Hundred and No/100 Dollars ( 1,300.00) to be paid therefor.
SECTION 2. The purchase price for the property described in
Section 1 hereof shall be paid from the Right-of-Way Fund, Project
1, Eighth Street, which appropriation exists by virtue of Ordinance
No. 10,921, Section 1-A.
SECTION 3. This resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
