A RESOLUTION AWARDING A CONTRACT ON BIDS FOR THE PURCHASE
OF ONE (1) GRAND PIANO FOR USE IN THE DUNBAR RECREATION
CENTER TO GERALD NEAL PIANO SALES
FOR A PURCHASE PRICE OF SIXTEM—RUMED NINETY NINE AND.50/100
DOLLARS ($ 1699. 50 ) ; PROVIDING THAT THE SAID MONEYS SHALL
BE PAID FROM THE PARK & AIRPORT CONSTRUCTION FUND, PROJECT
36; AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE CITY MANAGER AND DIRECTOR
OF FINANCE TO EXECUTE THE NECESSARY WARRANTS THEREFOR; AND
FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS , invitation for bids for the purchase of one (1) grand
piano for use in the Dunbar Recreation Center have been legally pub-
lished; and
WHEREAS , bids have been received and opened pursuant to said
invitation ; and
WHEREAS , the Board of Directors desires to award contracts on
said bids to Gerald Neal Piano Sales the lowest
responsible bidder therefor;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. A contract for the purchase of one (1) Grand Piano
for use in the Dunbar Recreation Center is hereby awarded to Gerald
Neal Piano Sales for a total price of Sixteen
Hundred Ninety Nine and 50/100 Dollars ($ 1699. 50 ) .
SECTION 2. The purchase price authorized in Section 1 herein
shall be paid from the Park & Airport Construction Fund, Project 36,
which project was created by Ordinance No. 10,991.
SECTION 3 . The City Manager and Director of Finance are hereby
authorized and directed to execute the necessary warrant or warrants
for the payment of the purchase price herein identified in Section 1 .
SECTION 4. This resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption .
