A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF AND PRESCRIBING
THE PROCEDURE FOR ACQUISITION OF RIGHT-OF-WAY ON CANTRELL
ROAD WITH BOND CONSTRUCTION FUNDS; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES .
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS O F THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. Options for the purchase of land as right-of-way for
widening and paving Cantrell Road in the City of Little Rock as
obtained by Conner and Baldwin, appraisers for said City, shall
be considered accepted when such options have been approved in
writing by at least a majority of the Board of Directors . Provided,
however, no member of the Board of Directors shall approve an option
submitted by said appraisers unless and until such option bears the
written recommendation of said appraisal firm.
SECTION 2. The acceptance and approval of options pursuant to
provisions of Section 1 hereof shall be authority for the City Mana-
ger and Director of Finance to issue the necessary warrant , or
warrants, in payment of the purchase price provided for in said
options.
SECTION 3 . All moneys paid pursuant to provisions of this Resol_u-
tion shall be paid from the Right-Of-Way Fund, Project 2 .
SECTION 4. Resolutions numbering 2406 and 2425 are hereby repealed
and this resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after
its adoption .
