RESOLUTION NO. 2473
A RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 2469 RELATING TO
THE SALE OF CITY OWNED PROPERTY TO RAYMOND A. KARCHER,
TRUSTEE; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS :
SECTION 1. That Part of Section 3 of Resolution No .
2469 , adopted January 4, 1960, which relates to the terms and
conditions of a Quitclaim Deed from the City of Little Rock
to Raymond A. Karcher, Trustee, is hereby amended to reflect
a Quitclaim Deed in form and substance as follows:
QUITCLAIM DEED
WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas , on
the day of January , 1960, by Resolution No.
, authorized and directed the Mayor, together with
the City Clerk, to convey to Raymond A. Karcher, Trustee , property
in the City of Little Rock, hereinafter described:
NOW THEREFORE, I , W. C. KNOOP, Mayor, and I , PAULINE G . BEESON,
City Clerk of Little Rock, a municipal corporation , organized,
chartered, and existing under authority of the laws of the State of
Arkansas, for and in consideration of the sum of Thirty Five Thousand
and No/100 Dollars ($35 ,000 .00) cash in hand paid, the receipt of
which is hereby acknowledged, acting for and in behalf of the City
of Little Rock, Arkansas, do hereby convey, alien and quitclaim
unto Raymond A. Karcher, Trustee, his heirs, successors and assigns
forever, the following lands lying in the City of Little Rock, County
of Pulaski, State of Arkansas, to-wit:
That part of Lots 11 through 20, Block 3 , lying South of
and adjacent to a right of way reserved to the City of
Little Rock, Arkansas, for an expressway, said lots being
located in National Park Subdivision to the City of Little
Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas, and the North 25 feet of
what was formerly East Twenty Eighth Street lying adjacent
to the South boundary line of the above described lots ;
and the East 30 feet of what was formerly Geyer Street
lying adjacent to the West boundary line of Lot 20, Block
3 , National Park Subdivision to the City of Little Rock ,
Pulaski County, Arkansas; and
Lots 2 and 3 , Block 4, National Park Subdivision to the
City of Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas , and the
North 25 feet of what was formerly East Twenty Eighth
Street lying adjacent to the South boundary line of the
above described lots; and
Lots 1, 2, 3 and 4, Block 8 , Watkins Addition to the City
of Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas, and the South
25 feet of what was formerly East Twenty Eighth Street ,
lying adjacent to the North boundary line of Lots 1 and
2, Block 8, Watkins Addition to the City of Little Rock,
Pulaski County, Arkansas, and the East 30 feet of what
was formerly Geyer Street, lying adjacent to Lots 2 and

2 , Block 3 , Watkins Addition to the City of Tittle Rock,
Pulaski County, Arkansas.
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD, the same unto Raymond A. Karcher, Trustee,
and unto his heirs , successors and a_ s,:_ s forever, to ether with
singe_ar , the tenements , appurtenances and hereditaments
t!iereunto belonging or in an';: wise appertaining.
'Lie City of Little Rock, Arkansas , here`._ warrants its title
? ;ainst any claims arisinn from certificates, deeds, instruments ,
or evidences of ownership o ` any interest in the above described
property whatsoever , wnicn interest arises from forfeitures of
the said property or any part thereof for non-payment of taxes
accrued durin the ownersaip of the property by the City of Little
Roc': and the City of Little Rock further agrees to indemnify, de-
fend a ainst and hold harmless the ^.,rantee, his heirs , executors,
adoinistrators , and assigns forever, from any claims or losses
arising out of forfeitures of the al:ove :4-escribed property or any
portion thereof for taxes accrued during such time as the property
was owed by the City of Little Rock, Arkansas .
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the City of Little ':lock, a municipal corpora-
. tion, has caused these presents to be signed by its Mayor , its Clerk
and its corporate seal to be herewith affixed, all in accordance
with and pursuant to a resolution of its City Board of Directors,
duly and regularly adopted , a copy of which is hereto attached and
made a part hereof, this day of , 1960.

Resolution No. for the considerations and purposes therein
mentioned and set forth.
