A RESOLUTION REAPPOINTING MRS. D. D. TERRY TO THE LIBRARY
BOARD OF TRUSTEES; REAPPOINTING MRS. GRADY MILLER TO THE
LITTLE ROCK AUDITORIUM COMMISSION ; APPOINTING MEMBFRS TO
THE CENSOR BOARD; AND APPOINTING MISS JAN NEWBY, MR. STEVE
STEPHENS AND MRS. BETTY FOWLER TO UNEXPIRED TERMS ON THE
CITY BEAUTIFUL COMMISSION; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. Mrs . D. D. Terry is hereby reappointed to the Library
Board of Trustees effective January 1, 1960, for a six (6) year term
ending December 31, 1965.
SECTION 2. Mrs . Grady Miller is hereby reappointed to the Little
Rock Auditorium Commission effective January 1, 1960, for a five ( 5)
year term ending December 31, 1964.
SECTION 3. Mrs . Leon S. Hoffman, Mrs. Cecil Mellville, Mrs. J . R.
Fair, Mrs. W. J . Jernigan, Mrs . Floyd Peek, Mr. Clark Manney, Mrs .
Letcher L . Langford, Mrs. Carl Olsson, Rev. Guy S . Wilson, Mrs. Eloise
Hamilton, Mr. Clayton W. Elliott, Mrs . Christine Olds, Mrs . W. C .
Bray, Mr. Drummond Switzer, and Mr. B. L. Murphree are hereby appointed
to the Censor Board effective January 1, 1960, for one ( 1) year terms
ending December 31, 1960.
SECTION 11 . Miss Jan Newby, Mr. Steve Stephens and Mrs. Betty
Fowler are hereby appointed to the City Beautiful Commission effective
January 1, 1960 , for unexpired terms ending December 31, 1960.
SECTION 5. This resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
