UPTON IN THE AMOUNT OF FOUR THOUSAND SEVEN HUNDRED T' ENTY ONE AND N0/100 DOLLARS ($4,721.00) FOR REPAIRING AND RE- MODELING OF THE ELEPHANT AND MONKEY BUILDINGS AT THE LITTLE ROCK MUNICIPAL ZOO; AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO ENTER INTO AND EXECUTE AN AGRi.ji14ENT ON BEHALF OF THE CI'lTY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, WITH THE SAID H. L. UPTON FOR THE SAID PRO- JECT; AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE CITY MANAGER AND DIRECTOR OF FINANCE TO EXECUTE THE NECESSARY WARRANTS THEREFOR; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. WHEREAS, invitation for bids for repairing and remodeling of the Elephant and Monkey Buildings at the Little Rock Municipal Zoo have been legally published; and WHEREAS, bids have been received and opened pursuant to said advertisement; and WHREAS, the bid of H. L. Upton is the lowest bid submitted therefor; and WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock desires to award the contract for the said project to the said H. L. Upton; NOW THEREFORE, BE I`1' HESu ,VED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS: SECTION 1. The low bid of H. L. Upton in the amount of Four Thousand Seven Hundred Twenty One and No/100 Dollars (4, 721.00) for • repairing and remodeling of the Elephant and Monkey Buildings at the Little Rock Municipal Zoo is hereby accepted. SECTION 2. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into and execute on behalf of the City of Little Rock an Agreement with H. L. The City Manager and Director of Finance are hereby authorized and directed to execute the necessary warrants in payment of the bid price herein. SECTION 14.. The bid price accepted in section 1 hereof shall be paid from the Parks and Airport Construction Fund, Project id, which appropriation exists by virtue of Ordinance No. 10,921. SECTION 5.
