A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE BID OF JAMES H. CONE, INC .
TO CONSTRUCT TENNIS COURTS IN THE DUNBAR RECREATION
CENTER; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the bid of James H. Cone, Inc. , dated July 21,
1959, was the low and best bid for the construction of facilities
for the Dunbar Recreation Center, and specifically, for the
construction of Two tennis courts for the Dunbar Recreation
Center; now, therefore,
BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED that the City of Little Rock accept
the said bid of James H. Cone, Inc. , dated July 21, 1959, in the
amount of Ten Thousand Seven Hundred and No/100 Dollars ($10,700.00)
for the construction of Two Tennis Courts in the Dunbar Recreation
Center, to be paid for out of the Parks & Airport Construction Fund.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a state of emergency is
declared to exist and that this resolution shall become in full
force and effect from the date of its adoption.
