A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE PLANS , SPECIFICATIONS AND COST
ESTIMATES PREPARED AND SUBMITTED TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
BY STOWERS AND BOYCE, REGISTERED, LICENSED ARCHITECTS , FOR
THIRTEEN (13) TENNIS COURTS TO BE CONSTRUCTED IN THE CITY
OF LITTLE ROCK; AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE CITY MANAGER
TO ADVERTISE AND TAKE BIDS FOR CONSTRUCTION OF THE SAID
TENNIS COURTS AT THE LOCATIONS HEREIN IDENTIFIED; AND FOR
OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The plans, specifications and cost estimates pre-
pared and submitted to the Board of Directors by Stowers and Boyce,
registered, licensed architects, for thirteen (13) tennis courts to
be constructed in the City of Little Rock are hereby approved.
SECTION 2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed
to advertise and take yids for the construction of Tennis Courts
pursuant to the plans and specifications hereinabove approved in
the number and at the locations shown below:
Six (6) Tennis Courts at War Memorial Park
Two (2) Tennis Courts at MacArthur Park
Two (2) Tennis Courts at Rebsamen Park
One (1) Tennis Court at Gillam Park
Two (2) Tennis Courts at Dunbar Recreation Center
SECTION 3 . This resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption .
